Carrollton Everything Or Nothing
Centricity Music band Carrollton is set to release a brand new 10-track album on 6th October titled "Everything Or Nothing." With production from Scott Cash and the band themselves, the album has been a long labor of love for the Carrollton band.
Carrolton drew inspiration for this album from their personal experiences and from persons they met on tour their 2015 album Sunlight and Shadows. While crafting songs the recurring theme that stood out was: full dependency on the Lord through everything.
Lead singer Justin Mosteller had this to say, “This album feels like it’s taken a long time to come to fruition, but that’s where some of the beauty is,” Mosteller says. “We lived and traveled with these songs, rewriting them and reshaping them…These 10 songs are us breathing out what we feel like God’s been doing around and within us. They share a piece of the lives we’ve been living these past two years.”
“Shelter,” the first single from the album, has already been receiving early praise with its bold sound. The album is based on Carrolton’s well-known style of indie-rock vibe with tight harmonies; however, they worked hard to sonically push their boundaries, while embodying the essence of live sound, taking listeners on a journey promised to be their best work yet.
“Part of our excitement and the fun of making this album was pushing ourselves to explore different sounds and themes, while still reaching back to what makes us us,” Mosteller added. “You’ll hear some bigger sounds than we’ve ever done before. But we’ve always fought to make our music as honest as possible, and this album feels like our best attempt at that.”
The band also is set to go on tour this fall, performing some new sounds. The tour, also titled, Everything Or Nothing, kicks off on 28th September and climaxes on 29th October. On tour with Carrollton, is featured guest performer, Hannah Kerr.
